Lutheran Services of Georgia (LSG) is a statewide, non-profit human services agency supported by Lutheran congregations, government agencies and the State of Georgia. The organization offers programs for adoptions, disaster response, employment services, family and children services, foster care and refugee resettlement.
Support Opportunities:
Annual Hunger Walk – Walking or financially supporting those who walk.
Other Fundraising Activities – Coordinating and participating in art auctions, golf outings, etc. throughout the year.
Mission Trips
Outreach Coordinator: Ron Jolly
Our mission trip program provides opportunities for both youth and adults to restore hope, faith and community to those in need. Resurrection “mission trippers” have served communities throughout Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, West Virginia and Key West.
Support Opportunities:
Workers – Traveling to various locations to assist in painting, repairs, clean-up etc. for non-profit organizations and individuals in need.
Supplies & Donations – Providing tools, transportation and financial support for traveling workers.
